Dealer Pilot Health and Safety Training

Things you need to do:

My Document Acknowledgements:

Read and acknowledge all documents
My Training Courses: Complete all awareness courses and pass the quizzes
My HR Details: Review and update your HR details in the Personal Information section
My Contacts: Update your emergency contacts and family members information
My Tasks: Review and report progress on any tasks that have been assigned to you
My Documents: Review documents that have been uploaded by your manager or HR team
My Time Off Requests: Submit new vacation, personal leave, and other time off requests:

LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS
1. Open web browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox). Chrome is recommended
2. Navigate to https://portal.dealerpilothr.com
3. Enter your credentials:

  • Organization:
    Lally Chevrolet = lallychevrolet
    Lally Kia = lallykia
    Chatham Chrysler =chathamchrysler
    Chatham Mazda =chathammazda
    Lakeshore All Makes = lakeshoreallmakes
    Lally Sales and Service = lallysalesservice

  • Account Name: first name & last name together no spaces (all one word and lower case)
  • Password: first name and year of birth together lower case

4. Click SIGN IN

CHANGE PASSWORD
1. Click your name in the top-right corner of the page
2. Click the Change Password option
3. Enter your current password
4. Enter and confirm your new password (minimum 6 characters)

We are asking “Everyone” to log into the system and update all of their contact information including personal email addresses. You must put your email address either in the primary or secondary email address so that when we pull a report, it shows. If you put it in the personal email address, it does not appear. You can also complete mandatory acknowledgements of documents and complete your Health & Safety training as well. These will be required once the system is fully functioning.

It is imperative that the H.R. Manager, Sandy Smyth, has your most up to date information. So please send her an email with your personal email address as well so she can add it to our email groups. We have had a few that bounce back because they are not correct, and many we don’t have any email addresses for at all.

PBS Systems Training

Our main DMS provider has opened up hundreds of webinars.  Many of you may not have had a chance to get completely up to speed on the new v10 system.  Chrysler and Mazda will be switching to PBS from CDK later this summer and Chevy could follow that.  Take this time to get ahead of those changes.

They have created a 2-month schedule of almost 400 webinars on everything from the v10 system basics to advanced features, as well as a robust CRM and Customer Experience series. They will focus on E-commerce. How are people doing business in the current climate? What tools do you already have that can assist you in minimizing customer contact for your staff? Keep an eye out as registration spots do fill up.

Shop N' Go / Motocommerce

By now hopefully you've heard all about and experienced our new digital retailing tool that we call "Shop N' Go".  With our showrooms currently closed to the public, online selling has shifted from something cool that is coming soon to something that is very much here now.  Fortunately for us, we had already began launching this earlier this year and are now fully live on all franchise locations websites.  Many dealers are currently advertising a buy online process but what that means for most is that the customer goes through the normal lead process and deals back and forth through email or phone calls.  The Shop N' Go tool allows the customer to control and select their vehicle and payment options and we can then work within the tool to send back suggestions and quotes, without anyone leaving their couch or quarantine.

We thought that the brand name Shop N' Go did a good job of summing up the process.  A customer can shop, price, buy, and set up delivery of their new or used vehicle completely online in a transparent and easy to use portal.  The software for this is called MotoCommerce.

They have been working on releasing training content on YouTube and the first three videos are live in the playlist if you click the link below.  More are on the way.

They are continuously updating and upgrading the software so its important that you stay up to date on how to use the tool.  There is a new and easier way to add Customers via Showroom not yet reflected in our learning library and it is explained with screenshots here.

Manufacturer's training is not only a required part of our lives at the dealership; it is a great way to stay up to date about changes in product and processes.  Now more than ever we need to be open to learning and we need to take this time to gain knowledge and further our certification goals.
