Health and Safety Considerations

A letter from Adam, March 24, 2020:

Dear Friends and Customers,

The Lally Auto Group Family has been servicing customers in this area since 1946, and we have never been faced with the types of decisions that we have had to make this last week.  The health and safety of our team members, customers, and community remains the most important thing in our world.

First of all I wanted to send positive thoughts for your health and safety, and thank the care providers on the front lines working through this pandemic.

Although we are permitted to operate as an “essential service”, we feel that it is the right decision to significantly scale back operations.  Starting tomorrow, and lasting for a planned two week period, we will be open with reduced hours but physically closing our doors.  We’ll be taking steps to further minimize physical interaction.  We will still be OPEN and able to provide repair and maintenance services, our Parts departments will be functioning, and our Sales Departments will be open online and by appointment or phone call.

During this time, we will be a little short staffed, and the exceptional level of convenience and service you are used to might not be up to normal Lally Auto Group standards.  In saying that, we still want to make sure we have staff on hand that can deal with any urgent service that you may need, and any vehicle emergency our nurses or doctors might run into.  I would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

If you’re shopping for a vehicle - just this week we have gone “live” with our new completely online car shopping and buying platform called Shop N’ Go across most of our Dealership’s websites.  We have always believed in making the vehicle shopping experience as easy as possible, Shop N’ Go will let you get your questions answered and allow you to make informed decisions even while our physical showrooms are closed.  Also, stay tuned as tomorrow we’ll be launching a fun contest for you and your kids to participate in over Facebook and Instagram.

We want to help our health care providers however we can; so if you or someone you know is a doctor or nurse and has a vehicle breakdown, please reach out to our dealerships.  We will make arrangements to have a loaner vehicle dropped at their door for them to use while we all get through this, no questions asked.

Any changes will be communicated on Facebook and our Dealership’s websites, so we ask you to stay in touch.  We are looking forward to getting back to closing a deal with a handshake, and sharing our spaces with you; our friends and customers.  At some point we’ll be back, and we’ll be more prepared than ever to provide the exceptional service you’re used to.  But for now we’ll look to do things a little differently to get through this time.

Stay safe, stay healthy and stay home!
